Pioneer replied
"Thank you for contacting Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc.
The power lead of the camera needs to be connected to a 12 volt controlled by the ignition and what most likely happen was that the power lead of the camera is connected to a 12 volt constant. The Radio has no option to turn off the camera only to turn off the camera option."
So I either add my own cut off switch or take it to CarToys to see if they can fix it.
