Dingy Ford 6F35 transmission vehicles...

I have a 2011 AWD Escape. I was going to Dingy tow it (originally Ford approved).

Seems the 6F35 transmission does not circulate the fluid and they will eventually fail. I did a lot of research on this. Even with the pump its iffy at best. I have 80,000 on two escapes with no transmission issues and I don't want to start now.

By the time you figure the tow bar, plate, lights and brakes, you can have a really nice dolly with electric brakes.

With the AWD the rear axle should free wheel however I am going to remove the four bolts and tie up the shaft. I have been trying to get someone to make a quick disconnect. Remco does not for the Fords. I even pinged Ford through an engineer.
