I would call Balmar or Mastervolt and ask about the Balmar UHG.
Though I had converted my Rialta to lithium, and just added a DCDC converter to the one alternator it had. I had 5kWh in it and never had a problem.

I'd echo what David EM said-

So I personally would not use an external generator- solar and shoreline are what I use aside from the UHG for my 7.2kWh system on my Tellaro, and i have never had to use the UHG.

The added benefit of using the engine is 1/40th of emissions, and also get the chassis battery charged at the same time, as the original system would do.

Also one less engine to maintain. Gas generators in my book are fickle lawn mower engines with a dynamo and a PITA to maintain.

I would explore that some more- Victron makes a nice compact DCDC converter, and that's what I would consider instead of replacing the UHG.
