6 speed transmission
We took our Axis to Midway Ford in K.C. (truck center) to have our transmission checked. The tow/haul works great. However, we had an issue when returning from Florida mid July ... coming through city traffic...stop and start...it was shuddering/slipping going from 2nd to 3rd.
The techs at Midway were very good to work with. They told us they put it on the OBD/Scanner and found no issues. Checked all fluid level/color .. all was good. He drove it and found no issues (which Ron did not experience driving it over Sunday morning..yes they are open 7-7 Sat & Sun)
The tech said ... all was good and if we experienced the issue again give them a call.
Soooo we shall see !
