we should be less concerned with civility and "positivity" and more with making interesting content and lively discussion. That is what drives traffic. If you want to run it like a nazi prison camp, just visit some other forums and you'll see they strangle them being overly concerned with whether someone is offended by an off-hand remark than if the post is valuable.
