Axxera video parking brake connection
OK,got a question for owners of the Axxera radio. Has anyone tried to "defeat" the video lockout when the parking brake is not set?
Not wanting to play DVD,s here, but have satellite radio connected to rear audio inputs. Then I have a nice blue screen. Was thinking of bridging the video output from the camera switch to the rear video input with the satellite radio audio. That way I can have the rear camera view, but still be able to use the volume of the radio ( which is non functioning during normal camera mode)
But, I am thinking that this video input is "locked" out without the parking brake set, which kind of defeats the whole idea.
I think that grounfing the parking brake lead "should" work. Just wondered if anyone had tried it?
