Check your height.

This has happened before. Drivers have driven the same vehicle over the same route for years and suddenly find that a bridge is too low.
How does this happen? State road maintenance puts a pavement overlay on top of the road surface, thereby lowering the clearance by 2-3 inches. Do they change the sign showing the change? Probably not. Would you notice the new sign after driving the same route for a long period?
