I'd done 100,000 miles over the past eight years in four motor homes from 20-25' and have never towed. We usually don't spend move than 3-4 days in the same campground so it seems easier to us to unplug the Axis and go into town. I towed boats for years and cars to move from one assignment to another, so it is not that I am uncomfortable towing, I just believe that the KISS principle applies. The more complicated you make RVing, the more chance for something to go wrong. Keep it as simple as possible and add complications as you gain experience. If I used my RV to go somewhere and camp for weeks at a time, I probably would feel differently and tow a vehicle.
