Kent, it doesn't. Our fascia (door pocket) is only 17" deep while the door width is 31". Since we want full access to the left closet, we slide the door to the right.

In order to accomplish that we removed the wood pieced that was stapled to the left side of the right door. That piece used to keep the left door from moving while in transit. We removed the screw in the floor as well which allows the door to freely move to the right.

BTW, any chance you were at the DRV facility last week?
