I have the fiberglass roof on my unit. I have had rubber on other units and they rip when they come in contact with tree limbs. They also require maintenance. I had this unit since Oct. of 2014 and have traveled many miles. We travel back roads and stay at Federal and State parks whenever possible. The tops of my AC units have scratch marks from limbs etc. The roof has been flawless thus far. I will never have a rubber roof again.
