One option to avoid warranty issues is to buy used, on an as-is basis. That way you can repair things yourself or use whomever you want to do the repairs.
I want new, but the more I read about the hassles so many owners have over the first year, the more I question whether knew is worth it. It would be different if you could custom order new MHs with options you want (of the type MH we are looking at), but since they are pretty much all the same, why not a lightly used one? It seems like a good option to get around poor build quality, poor dealer service, and long periods without use of your motorhome.
