I have a TST system also. I had one on my last coach and I wouldn't drive one without it. I sold the coach with the TPMS on it and bought a new one before I even got my new Challenger. Let me tell you why. I was driving down the highway in the old coach when my TPMS starting screaming at me. It cycled around to the offending tire and it was at 198°! We pulled over to look at it then limped to a truck stop. I had to move the coach and lo, no brakes!
I could only imagine what would have happened if not warned. At least a tire going flat might give some warning, but a over-heated one? Turned out one of the calipers were dragging on the wheel and eventually boiled the brake fluid! GET A TPMS! It probably saved our lives.
