I have always towed a car since I had a Motorhome. I recently got a 2016 Axis 24.1 and I had my car braking system moved from my old Motorhome to the Axis. The braking system is a Unified tow brake system. I tow a 1996 Suzuki Sidekick Sport. It's a 4x4 and its towed 4 down with auto transmission in park and the transfer case in neutral. When towing I stop every 200 miles and start the Suzuki and put it in gear and go through all the gears with my foot on the brake for a few minutes. That according to Suzuki is required to properly lube the transmission. I haven't had any issues with towing it for 15,000 miles. I have gotten used to the luxury of having a tow vehicle to drive when sightseeing, driving mountain trails, etc.
