If you're using a tow dolly you shouldn't back on the dolly with front wheels on the ground, the caster in front wheels will be backwards and ruin your tires quickly! If you do decide to chance it make sure the steering wheel is locked so the car doesn't wander, remember the caster is backwards. I checked on this several years ago and all the sites I visited said the same thing, do not tow backwards.
