We had that same problem, early on, after purchasing our Axis...we put it in storage in January..brought it out late March..and had an unrelated problem...and then, the batteries not holding a charge. Ron hooked up a trickle charger to the chassis battery when parked in the driveway and used that for several months..monitoring the water levels of the battery too...now, the chassis battery will hold the charge with no problem.
In addition...we make sure the Axxera radio is shut off and the light in the Jensen is turned off. It helps on the battery drain.
He hooks up shore power several days before we are leaving on a trip ... so, during the summer, when we are home and want to do a day trip somewhere..we are good to go !
