Not sure about anyone else but we've had our 37TB for about 18 months spending at least 7 months a year. The Y connection is the only solution we've found. We carry 3 10' heavy duty hoses and 2 15' foot rhino hoses. Only had to use them all once - the sewer was WAY at the back of a pull through space (probably designed for 5ers). When we are staying for 1 or 2 days, don't hook anything up just dump before we leave.
When I get a bit agitated about using the Y connector, I remind myself how nice is to have the 80 gals of gray water storage when we are dry camping. And we dry camp for 3 months per year.
