Overhead console (E450 cab).

I just finished updating my overhead console. I actually did this project earlier this year but did not allow for the TPMS display to rotate. Consequently, it was hard to see.

The console serves two purposes. First, I needed somewhere to mount the TPMS display, and secondly, I wanted to get rid of that cheesy overhead light, which was all but worthless.

This week I finished modifying the console to allow the TPMS display to rotate - so it is a lot easier to see.

The console is actually made of Corian and polished to a high shine.

And I am fully aware of the Murphy's Law that states you can only improve on something for so long... then you break it.

So that is in the back of my mind.

I do have one more idea though for this area. I purchased a thermometer/clock earlier this year, but have not decided where to put it.

Finally though, I ran across this mount for the ScanGauge2, and thought I could make a facsimile for the thermometer.
