We dreamed of owning an RV for 40 yrs. Now we are retiring and getting ready to hit the road. We had a family crisis that made staying in an RV more practical than a motel, so we bought in a rush and ended up with the Fe22.
Our first 800 mile trip home was a nightmare and a 15 hrs. Trip was a white knuckle 23hr. Trip. We learned from the forums we needed to add a steering stabilizer, large sway bars, and a messerizer . The 2nd trip was much better. When the crisis was over we thought we would trade it in for a real Thor with a couch. Of course the new Thor with 4600 miles only had a 45k trade in so we will have to keep what we have for now.
I cut the bed cushions apart, then cut it out to fit around the end tables. Now I have a sofa and a 2nd TV. Since we are keeping the fe22, we will be able to afford to spend the whole Summer on the road plus take week long trips each month.
