Yes the engine computer will have to re-learn some parameters every time you reconnect and start it. So far in two seasons this hasn't caused us any issues at all (It starts right up just like normal; you don't really notice anything). As long as you don't see a check engine light (you wont--I haven't seen one yet) you should be fine.
