Im planning on building a wood storage rack similiar to a magazine rack and plan on placing it to the left of the drivers seat. This will hold glasses phone charges gun and anything else ill need while driving but what i want out of the way and to keep tge clutter down. Im kind of ocd and hate stuff all over the place. When we had our Tuscany I bought two wall mount magazine racks like you're talking about, I mounted one next to drivers seat, and one next to the toilet. The wall covering Thor uses is pretty tough, I used 3M weather strip tape for mounting the racks and never had one come loose.
I carry my Glock when we travel but prefer to keep it out of sight, I keep it in the hidey hole behind the bedroom tv.
