Propane & CO2 Detectors

Hello, Does anyone know how the detector is powered? The reason I ask is we have a 2013 Thor Challenger, the detector would randomly go off. Nothing should be making it go off, so we replaced it thinking it was defective. Now I am wondering if it is low voltage because the night shades are powered by the chaise battery and maybe this is too. Full time RV living with shore power so not sure what else it could be. Thanks!
