It's just a little more messy, and needs longer curing time, which needs, it needs to be fixed in place for a longer time.

On the other hand, Boeing and Airbus are using a lot of pressure sensitive tape to put their aircraft together!
Yes, a lot of the commercial aircraft is glued together!
And if you think about, our motorhomes are glued together, too. Vacuum bonding is nothing but gluing!
