Just a comment - the strip heating elements can be wired either as 240VAC or 120VAC. The latter would allow one to run it on either 30 amp or 50 amp service, BUT it would cut the heat output in half. I wouldn't recommend it. You can always use propane for the times you're restricted to 30 amp service.
