Everyone is going to be a little different. When we were full timing we did right at 40,000 miles in 3 years. We only really covered 26 states while full time. Now only traveling 3 to 4 months a year we are on pace to do between 6,000 and 8,000 annually.

Right now it sounds like you are doing as much driving as camping, but when only taking 2 or 3 day trips you are sort of limited. I suspect once you both have more time available your trips will get much longer but your miles may not increase that much.
