I contacted ASA and asked if I could return our JRV212T to them for a replacement. They sent me instructions and a return number and I sent the unit to them. They found the radio to be defective and sent a new or a refurbished unit back to me. I installed the new radio and it works fine. The display appears to be brighter than the old unit and the sound and reception also seem to be better. Fingers crossed...
