Gotcha...

After a lot pondering...I installed the inverter completely separate from the rig's AC circuit.

The instructions do indicate to ground inverter to chassis. The inverter will be in a compartment near battery bank.

So far, the project is looking really good. I'm obsessing over the details because I like things to look super neat and professional.
