Most smaller motorhomes with 16-inch wheels and tires have more sophisticated independent front suspension, so it's difficult to judge which handles better overall. There are a lot of variables involved in my opinion.

Having driven various motorhomes in windy conditions through Northern Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arizona (worst being around Amarillo), I can only conclude that larger units (when similar in design) are affected by wind to a greater degree. I'm pretty sure that on average a 24-ft Class C won't get pushed around as easily as a 32-ft Class C when both are on same chassis.
