Welcome to the family and Congrats! My 2 cents, don't try to see everything the first year. The 2-2-2 method works great, travel 200 miles, stop by 2 pm and stay 2 days or weeks. Better yet, pick a region or a state and spend a few months on the back roads seeing the area. We have been fulltime for 11 years. We've volunteered at state parks for a winter or summer season every year so there is so much we haven't seen.
