...diesel coaches like our Palazzo can dump the air bags first, which brings the coach down about 4", then we use the auto/manual LCI Leveler panel, which probably adds 4" to 8" depending on the requirement...
...either way, it's doubtful that a tow bar system would care whether you level higher, or lower, while the vehicle is attached. There is enough 'play' either way... think about all the ups and downs, driveway entrances, etc that require the tow bar to flex MUCH MORE than just a level up...
