The 18 was the best I've ever gotten, and under ideal conditions, driving at 45 on a flat road. The average realword range can vary between a low of 13 to a high of about 16. Steep grades and high winds make a big difference. The engine has really great power up any steep grade. It handles almost like a big SUV, not a truck. This diesel is a terrific option, unless you like paying double for the Mercedes?
