We avoid rv parks and resorts unless there is no other choice. For CO we like Spruce Grove, Silver Jack, or Sunshine all are USFS dry camping.
We will stop at the KOA in Montpelier, ID as it's very nice with a stocked trout stream running through the CG. The USFS CG just up the road is a dump.
