Does the black plastic cover on the inside of tail light fixture simply pop off?
I did not look to see if changing the light was easy or not (and can't really tell from my pics). Nor did I try to remove the back plastic cover behind the black foam gasket.

Not sure if I'd replace the bulbs with LED bulbs or simply replace the fixtures with better ones with LEDs in them (time will tell).
