Lowering mechanism probably causing squeak!?
My Hurricane was the exact same way! Squeaked constantly and was very irritating for a brand new coach! This is my fix!
I took a wooden shim and cut it down lengthwise. I inserted it in the mechanism under the table where the lowering release handle is (See pic). It worked like a charm. Now even the bumpiest roads does not get a sound from the dinette!
