We have no "lock" to keep the door open, just the "shock absorber" thingy (yeah technical term) on the bottom. On our unit its pretty strong and holds the door open, even in a stiff breeze.

(I know what you're talking about, though. Our pull-behinds all had some way to lock the door open. Nothing on the Axis though.)

The one mentioned by the OP is a 2015 though.

(Ask croused about his since he has a 2018)
