I revived (again) a GPS I recently replaced for the RV and it has detailed topo maps that are great for back roads. While the Jeep has NAV, it doesn't have Topo maps and we've been dual purposing the old GPS with a suction mount. Now we won't have to share a GPS in the rigs assuming the old one keeps working.

I looked for a mount that is a little less obvious than the windshield suction or beanbag perched on the dash and didn't find anything I liked. So I made one that clips to the hardtop latch to position the GPS right above the rear view mirror and pretty much invisible from the outside.
