After looking at both GVWR and GCVW on my 2016 e450 Vegas, I would not hesitate to tow 7,500 4 down behind it. My 5500 lb open racecar trailer is not noticable behind it at all.
The Vegas weighs around 13000 full of everything we need for us/track. I did have to adjust tongue weight to accomodate the 500 lb max tongue on my 8000 lb hitch. Even at that, it tracks fine. I run LT tires on trailer and can run 75 MPH with ease. 4.56 gears and 16" tires it seems to loose .5 MPG or less on road. This is the 2 valve version of the V-10 with 6 speed.
