You could probably angle the camera so that the top edge of the viewed photo is the roof clearance +12" at the front grille... or something like that.

So when the front grille is in-line with the obstacle, if you see it - it's less than 12" clearance.

Of course, that only works when you are moving slow - not fast.

But I only have one camera... hope to add left/right cameras this year.
