Ours had shifted so they were no longer "diverting" the airflow. After some screws and duct tape, we were able to get them in line and we have decent airflow.
Had the dealer attempt to fix twice, but after we tackled with our roll of duct tape, haven't had issues since. Ducts have air with the vents open on the AC, then really have air flow with the vents closed...

Got it. I'll take a look... that may be it. Ours has no air flow with the vent open and still no air flow when the vent is closed.
