I had the furnace issue too... spent Thanksgiving week camping. The first night it went off... so I put a shower cap over it (we use that when cooking on the stove... bacon or burgers tend to set it off every time
).
Second night happened again- shower capped it.
By the third night it had stopped. Of course, it was chilly in AZ so it ran on and off through the night the first couple of nights....
