What Thor told you is correct. My Vegas does not have a 50 Amp service. Mine is 30 Amp. When plugged in to a 30 Amp shore power and with my USE/STORE switch in USE, the converter keeps the house batteries charged. With the converter running you should not need a trickle charger connected. If the RV was wired correctly and everything is working correctly the converter should keep the house batteries AND the chassis battery fully charged.
