New owner questions

There is a mod to rewire the antenna plate inside where the selector is for air or cable (turns the signal amp on for using the antenna or off for using park cable.) A satellite signal cannot be run through a splitter so this mod allows the signal straight through and bypasses the amp and switch. Basically, you will attach the outside cable to a different coax connection and jumper the existing connection. I don’t remember all of the details but it is widely discussed on the RV forums.

We simply installed our own satellite input and ran it to the entertainment center to the satellite receiver (with a separate power inserter located there for our dish.) This seemed like a much simpler solution.
