Heat and Soundproofing 2014 Vegas 24.1
Have just finished applying "Boom Mat" heat and sound proofing material to our
2014 Vegas 24.1.
I removed the carpet from beneath the driver and passenger seats.
I applied 4mm " Boom Mat" soundproofing mats to the plywood floor and firewall.
Over the soundproofing mats,"Boom Mat" carpet padding was added.
Then new carpeting replaced the original.
I removed the "doghouse", and lined the inside ( exterior) portion with "Boom Mat " tunnel shield.
I found several holes in the firewall.
Some the size of small bolts, the other the size of a half dollar!
I haven't test driven the Vegas yet, still patching holes on the firewall.
