Mine opens ok but retracts slowly or not at all on battery alone. It is slightly better (i.e. I can get it in) if the generator is running or I'm on shore power. I think the extra voltage of being on the charger is just enough to make the difference. I want to check the voltage at the motor but haven't done so yet. In the meantime I carry the tools to do a manual retract if necessary. I spoke with Lippert and they think a motor replacement is the cure. We'll see.
