I think I got my valve extensions from NAPA. Haven't had any problems with them so far. I safety wire the hubcaps on to the rims to prevent the extensions being ripped off if a hubcap decides to let go. If this happens you will have two flat tires quickly according to a guy I know that it happened to on a rainy night crossing the Tapanzee bridge.
And yeah, crawling around in FL on hot pavement can get old in a hurry. I use thick cardboard to lay down for low work.
