So far I agree with you, SuperD, that it doesn't seem to be a problem, just uneasy about it.
Also agree with finding a good seasoned tech at Thor to see if they know anything to do about it. I did find one to ask as to why the shower floor was so high off the bathroom floor, and after looking into his drawings, he couldn't say why it was that high. I'm sure it has to do with the drain plumbing most likely.
