yep, I don't have a problem passing stations either. The mileage differential just isn't big enough for that to be a deciding factor on its own, offsetting for fuel prices.
Honestly, the V-10 does ok in the hills too. Not great, true enough, but I'm not racing...so that isn't such a big deal to me either.
It's all about cargo and towing for me, and why I wish I had a diesel.
Based on the research I've done, depending on how equipped, a 4 door jeep can sneak in just under that 5,000# number...but not by much. Add in normal weight adds and it seems like they're a bit too close to the limit for serious consideration. Ditto my wife's Buick Enclave.
