Another option you may want to consider as a possibility is leaving the existing receiver as at present for your car, and adding a clamp-on receiver to one side to carry the bikes. As long as your bikes aren't too heavy there should be many options that clamp a 2-inch receiver to the motorhome's receiver cross-tube (don't know actual cross-tube's name). A google search shows quite a few options. They are similar in shape to clamp-on receivers for RV bumpers but with different bolt spacing.
