I too am happy with my Thor product (2017 Freedom Elite Class C) and quite satisfied with Thor in my few post purchase dealings with them. I have no post purchase interaction with my dealer as I've not had to take it back in my 8 months, 7500 miles and 39 nights of ownership. That said, you WILL have issues with your new RV. I'm pretty "handy" as well and have perhaps a full day or more of repairs and adjustments. I count it as part of the experience and have learned SO much about my machine from doing the repairs. There are lots (and lots!) of rants about poor quality and I don't doubt the grim reality of the posters. But I also talk to folks in campgrounds and most people with late model Thors, like me, seem to be pretty happy. Best of luck with your purchase and your travels.
