Traffic from the north was not too bad this morning. Aren't those the same news folks that had everybody in a panic over Y2K? We're at WalMt tonight, but I think we'll walk to a nearby church if the parking lot lights come on!
The closer you get to the center line of the path, the better. Suggest you leave as early as possible, and be prepared with snacks and water. If you get bogged in traffic, you'll still see the eclipse, maybe just not as long and not as complete. It is likely that many folks will pull off of the highway, wherever they are at that time.
We are set for before, but wondering what traffic will be like after.
