my issue is almost the opposite,

the pin have never backed out, and after travel, the slight drop binds the pins so they are very difficult to remove. I have to barely raise the bed just slightly to unbind the pins for removal. My fear is that over time this will mess up my otherwise meticulous adherence to the synchronizing techniques while raising and lowering.
